Deserved that win. Controlled 90% of the game. I'm sure every team feels like they get the short end of the stick when it comes to officiating, but this seemed different. Oh well.

Connolly had a good game. No points, but again, good game. Would have had an assist on the original Marchand goal. Got the "Chris Kelly 3rd assist" on Bergeron's 2nd of the game. Good to see that line with Bergeron and Marchand get on the board again. Much needed.

Krug was active all night. He will wear a letter for a long time. Eventually. His passion for the game is unquestioned. Would lock him up for 5+ years if it were up to me.

I dislike Mike Babcock greatly.

And thought they even were this game, but the curse itself, couldn't stop Bergy and Marchy...and goaltender Krug!

Back to back wins, we expected them to win...but still...beauty wins!

The refs were certainly one-sided tonight.

Babcock has the Leafs playing the Red Wings embellishment style of drawing penalties.

Based on a review of hate related posts the last week I am updating my Hate Ranking

Talbot- could bring peace to all nations and Bruins fans would still hate him
Chara- good week of hate after the Rangers third period
Kevan Miller- folks hate him but they deep down don't want to
Connolly- whole does not equal sum of parts and many hate him becz of that
Kemppainen- hasn't played enough but capable of climbing list

I always thought it was something between you two that's not hockey related- my dog hates the UPS guy for no reason. I figured it was something like that.

it was nice too see clode had bergeron and marchand on the ice in the last minute of the game. If they were not on the ice doubt they score. Clode coached with smarts better then the last two games.
