I was so wrong about Ryan McLeod earlier this year. He's been terrific lately.

Ever since he got the bump to the 2nd line. He got sent back down to the third, but his confident from what he did on the 2nd has remained. Its like he realised what he can do and just kept going.

Top line has frankly stunk tonight and most of Flames scoring chances coming against them.

This might be the quietest game I've seen McDavid play vs the Flames.

Hopefully this 3rd period is better than that 2nd period... because Flames looked better than the Oilers there.

McDavid put RNH is a pretty terrible spot with a questionable backpass and then Nuge failed to get it deep.

It was a little more slow developing than usual but it was a pretty textbook example gray area turnover.
