Get a meat thermometer. Problem solved. You're right lol, I'm always paranoid about cooking meat because I don't want to undercook it so I usually make it well done and then it's dry & gross

Hang in there. This too shall pass.Oh man, that really sucks, I KNOW because my Sis isn't doing too great herself. I've had a rough month myself. To ram rod car accidents from behind, and fell in my tub and busted my elbow pretty good as I got a dizzy spell coming from the concussion from the 1st accident. Could have been worse, I suppose. Oh yeah, and my eldest Dog Precious was diagnosed with a huge tumor, so yeah been rough lately.

Hate to sound like a "boomer", but the world was truly better off before social media & cell phones. Thinking back on it, I have no idea how we ever got in touch with one another in our teens & 20s. I was out ALL the time. Things just worked themselves out organically. Our GDT's really are the best, idk if it's because of having one of the larger fanbases or that we have lax mods; but other teams GDT's tend to be strictly hockey talk. Ours is like we're a community.
But to address your earlier point, yea it's sad. I envy you older guys who grew up before social media, dating apps, etc. It's a much different world today. I have no memory of life without the internet, iPhones were already a thing when I was still in Elementary school.

True stuff... My Bike would be all over town.Had to walk a couple of miles to my friends house and knock on the door to see if he was home. Good old times.

Did you grow up before Alexander Graham Bell?Had to walk a couple of miles to my friends house and knock on the door to see if he was home. Good old times.
It's amusing when I listen to songs about sitting around the phone waiting for your call or wondering where you are right now.Hate to sound like a "boomer", but the world was truly better off before social media & cell phones. Suburbia. When you'd drive to your friends house and you'd need to honk for 5 minutes until they got their fat ass outside.
You having to pay for that MRI or is our universal health care helping out?All this Pizza Hut talk has me really hungry now, might say who cares about the ankle injury and hop on the Peloton so I can eat a larger portion of the greatest pie known to man!
My X-ray report said it found nothing and said no soft tissue injury either, but an X-ray can't really see soft tissue very well can it? Hmm
Would have to wait a year+ for an MRI in this God forsaken country
On the bike I go so I can enjoy some guilt free Pizza Hut!
I sprained my back on Monday and just rode the Peloton for 50 min let’s f***ing goAll this Pizza Hut talk has me really hungry now, might say who cares about the ankle injury and hop on the Peloton so I can eat a larger portion of the greatest pie known to man!

My doctor, who’s retiring this year so I’ll have no family doctor just like every other person I know; suggested I pay for it because I’ll be waiting a long long timeYou having to pay for that MRI or is our universal health care helping out?
I’m a fan of reheating it….love the extra crispy way it comes out, and the crispy cheese edges.I do but I rarely ever use it, do you guys prefer leftover pizza cold or reheated? I feel like most people I talk to prefer it cold. I prefer it reheated and as blasphemous as it sounds, I like it reheated in the microwave lol. I find it retains its moisture better, when you reheat it on the stove or in the oven the crust gets harder, and it dries out more.
How are the Columbian hockey fans?I've never seen any other country's fans boo & taunt kids the way Canadians do. Canadian hockey fans are a significant part of why I became a fan of an American NHL team.
Hungry for more Schwartz' humor, @will1066 ..pile it on! and put some mustard on the next one.lol that is a surprisingly layered joke. Well done.
Checks out. I'm 'murican but went to mcgillTIL you’re Canadian. I knew you went to McGill, but I never put that together
Ben's is gone now afaik btw. Nice genteel poutine there too.Ben’s or Mill Basin Deli
this is the benefit of a nmc...get more time to work out the kinks. i have no doubt the rangers could find a way to jettison halak but the nmc encourages them to give him some extra rope.Galant and co are trying to get Halak into some kind of groove after a rough start.
Cant really blame him when going up against a team that lets up close to 4 goals per game.
They will need Halak to be a competent backup down the stretch and spell Igor at times. There are still 9 more back to backs this season and a number of 3 in 4 nights because you know, the Rangers need to lead in that category, like every season or the sun just wont rise the day after the schedule is released
I went there, too. 2000-04. The Habs were trash then, so I went to a lot of games.Hungry for more Schwartz' humor, @will1066 ..pile it on! and put some mustard on the next one.

Carlos? When are you officially signing? Please break the news here.I'm dieting, I normally eat whatever I want and play hockey 3x+ per week & workout daily. Currently have an ankle injury so I can't do much right now, so I have to diet. But today I'm going to eat yummy food but still stay under my calories. What should I eat for the game tonight?
Did they re-open? i thought they shut a while ago.Now that's funny....I just got lunch from Ben's today.
