I was told before the series we would run through the Panthers...they weren't as good as us.Well they completely dominated us these past 2 games

Annoyed at Mika, Kreider, and Bread. Annoyed at the refs (if you can't call SEVERAL blatant penalties at the end of the 3rd period because "playoffs" then you can't call blatant penalties at the beginning of OT because "playoffs." The guy who scored the game winner never should have been on the ice in the first place).

Still, as frustrating as the refs were in this game, the Rangers will not win this series if their top 4 skaters (Zib, Kreider, Fox, and Bread) don't bother showing up.

Bring Chytil back in for his speed. Bring Jones in for his breakout. Bag skate everyone making more than 6 million dollars per.

We've literally been in our zone the entire of 5 out of 6 periods. I don't see it changing.

We're not good enough to beat this team. We have holes to fill this summer.

honestly impressive to have won 10 games given how bad our D is and our one good defenseman being hurt

I’m shocked this is actually 2-2. It is beyond ridiculous how obvious the league and ESPN want the Rangers eliminated.

I’m not going to get into Mika and his failure to show up. I could write a novel.

I’m just beyond annoyed that Ranger fans have to watch a national broadcast that is so one-sided.

Three things bothered me.

1. Our guys are losing 70% of the one on one puck battles. This bothers me.

2. A lot of our guys look exhausted. Our defense is exhausted outside of Schneider and Gus.

3. People will focus on the OT goal but we had the puck in Fla end. Kreider goes to an open Fox. There is no pressure at all on Fox but the puck gets by him. Did it bounce on bad ice? Was it careless?

Wheeler is fine and should play agian. They're not losing because of speed, they're losing because 190 pound guys are outmuscling them all over the ice.

Chytil was and is useless in a series like this. They need people who will engage physically and he won't.

yeah I’m not even mad we lost because we deserve it. we’re out of gas and, again, our top 3 paid forwards are playing like absolute trash. I can’t remember the last time I saw mika play such a terrible game all around.

this may be the beginning of the end. we just can’t handle them. we lost every battle, we’re slow to the puck, we’re not playing with the same intensity.

trocheck and laf are the only ones in the top 6 worth a damn. that isn’t good enough when your defense is so bad.

this team needs a real wakeup call.

Kreider blew his entire wad against Carolina in the third period of game 6 in the previous series.

Man I have never been this embarrassed to be a Ranger fan and see them get so clearly embarrassed and outhustled on national television. I am so angry.

He couldn't receive a pass on his tape or clear the zone with nobody within 10 feet of him all night. He looked like the 13th forward on a beer league squad.

I was struggling to envision them closing it out at 3-1. From 2-2, I don't see any chance.

This is turning into a mismatch.

Our defense can't handle this team at all.

Agree it felt like a mismatch, but I think it might be a little bit of an overreaction just because this team plays different with their backs to the wall. Thursday night will tell all.

Panarin putting some points on the board tonight is fine but still need more (a lot more) from him, but jesus christ.. where the f*** is Zibs? Kreider? Even injured Fox getting his hands dirty tonight.

Miller and Trouba back together again is a matchup in the playoffs that's trying to be worse than Nurse and Ceci.

Why in the holy f*** was Wheeler playing? Dude is coming off a bad injury and cold into a GAME 4.

This isn't adversity, it was a 120 minute Panthers powerplay.

It's over.

I've been positive all year.

I've seen enough. This is the team the eliminates them.

The holes were always there. It was just a matter of if/when somebody would exploit it.

Our shitty defense corps literally cannot play against this team. It isn't competitive hockey.

We played our game for 20 minutes in the last 2 games. Then just like LAK in the finals, we get hemmed in our zone and we forget how to make a pass or clear the zone.

They've been getting fluke goals game after game. That's what happens when you pressure and pin your opponents for the majority of the game.

At a certain point, they aren't flukes.

We made a tough decision ditching Strome after a good run and moving forward with Trocheck. We need to make some tough decisions on defense.

It shouldn’t be tough, 8 million bottom pair defensemen can’t work in a salary cap league.

Fix the defense this summer, it’s comical we are just back in the Girardi Staal danger zone.

Yeah, needs to be a top priority this summer. I'm sure they're nice guys but I've seen enough of those players in those roles. Team could use more speed as well.

The first two games were even, people were pretending like we were geting badly outplayed. But this garbage today was absolutely embarrassing. Proving all the naysayer right. The Rangers are utterly pathetic.
