We’re not capable of playing a full good 60 minutes against this team. We had an awesome first period and then just reverted to being awful in the second. I think that’s when I came to the realization that we’re more likely than not going to lose this series.

Still, we look scared. There’s no reason to be. Florida wins because it plays with confidence; their swagger (through physicality mostly) right away rocks opponents. Once you realize the emperor has no clothes, it becomes very winnable.

We can’t win this series without our top players. Laf and Tro and Goodie have carried us in this series. The other 3 no shows are too scared. When Mika is making a pass across the blue line to Wheeler that springs that breakaway it’s just garbage. That’s a play I teach peewees not to make. Our structure has completely disappeared thanks to our top players. They don’t want to engage, hit, move their feet. Unless they pull their head out of their ass we lose in 6.
