Gavrikov scored... the miracle... but the action was excellent, Chinakhov did it great.
I really liked Blankenburg and Gudbranson was good today with Gavrikov playing in front of the goalie like he should have.
Bean seemed to lack confidence. I'm curious to see if Boqvist replaces him.
Combinations not much, but effort, skating great.
I know, it was Vancouver. But after those three losses, it was tough.

Roslovic improved, excellent forchecking. Similar like Sillinger.
Johnson has really excellent hockey IQ, skill. I hope he'll play center soon.
Olivier and Danforth are fighting like for their life.
I say it's just the beginning of the season and then I'll start getting angry at the players...

Foot in mouth on some earlier posts but I'm glad they proved me wrong.

Blankenburg is huge, plays with so much heart and doesn't take a shift for granted. So many guys on this team need to watch how he plays and replicate it.

Chinakhov with the assist for the game winner shows incredible growth, last year he would have shot that.

Jack Roslovic and Cole Sillinger.

Roslovic has played exactly 60 minutes combined in the four games this year, zero points. not to mention just 7 shots on goal in those 4 games.

Maybe. But they have improved. Roslovic has excellent forchecking, although he isn't ideal without the puck yet, it's better than the last season.

I'd be happy to see KJ get a shot on the 2nd OT Line, but I want a shooter on the 1st Line. I can't imagine why Chinakov isn't the first guy out there with Johnny (while Laine is sidelined). Nyquist is a good player, but he shouldn't be out there with Johnny in OT.
