Haters... Go to hell. I've waited 17 years to get this close. 17! I dont care about your advanced stats and Corsi BS. One win to the Final. Thats it. Do it.

Call me negative, and I'm okay with it.

Pouliot is awful. What happened to him, I don't know but he is complete crap out there.

A good fan supports a player and stands behind him after a bad game or stretch. Am I too hard on Poo?

Man, not the best game I have ever been to, but by far the best MSG moment I have experienced. Time stopped when Marty got that puck. I had a perfect view from section 308, then just pandemonium.

That was awesome.

He was horrendous. Brain dead game from him.

How do you high stick a guy while deking? Takes a special level of clumsy to do that.

Once you get into the $500+ range it's all about how it's tailored and how the wearer presents it.

He probably just likes that brand, and they look like well made suits, so no reason to spend more just to spend more.

A guy like lundqvist will look good in any suit.

A guy who's 300 lbs of lard will make an armani suit look like a cheap piece of crap.

Keep in mind that I think it's quite cool that he's not rocking 10K suits. I also think they look more pricey than they actually are.

I wonder if he knows the owner. Probably good publicity.

Watching it on TV it looked like the place exploded. LOL

Maybe Benny The Poo is a sabateur:sarcasm:

Thought Girardi and Pouliot had awful games despite the former's assist on the second goal. Lundqvist wants the first goal he gave up back, but he was good otherwise. He'll need to be better if the Rangers want to close this series out.

I'm totally eating crow on Hagelin. He's been a key player for us down the stretch.

He was pretty awful tonight. Really inconsistent and the big problem with Pouliot is he's either pretty on or completely off. Rarely is there middle ground. I assume this is why he's bounced around with so many teams. Still have faith in him to turn it around, but he can't have another night like this, it's okay to not find the score sheet but you can't multiple penalties and especially offensive zone ones.

Callahan is watching his buddies from the couch approach the finals because he didn't fire his agent or lower his demands.

Suppose that's a lesson in itself.

Would we be here with Callahan instead of MSL though? Probably not. So a million thanks to Callahan's dumbass agent!

The Garden was shaking when Marty was scored, which doesn't happen often in the "new" MSG. Definitely up there in terms of Rangers post-lockout moments at the Garden.

I have been to my fair share of playoff wins, dramatic come from behind victories, but that goal right there was the biggest goal I have ever witnessed in person. The Garden was down, people were not confident, the fans were getting restless, tired of all the penalties, tired of the rangers failing to penetrate the neutral zone. The vibes were starting to get scary, then Marty gets the puck, time stops, then catches back up with an explosion of just pure raw joy spilling out of 18,000 people. It was insane. All that sloppy play, and lackluster 60 minutes of hockey was worth it because it set the stage for that release.

I don't think the combination of drive/talent amounts to the same result. In fact I know it doesn't. I stuck to the business side of the equation as I tipped my hat to Callahan, but knew that his exit was inevitable and simply what happens. I had no tears to cry when he left.
To be honest, I was neither for or against the acquisition of Martin St. Louis. He has been a top 5 favourit player of mine for so many years, and even when he was a Rangers-slayer so many times, I just loved his clean, hardworking, electrifying game. Yet, past experience over the decades with top talent coming to NYR taught me to be wary.

It's turning into a really good story.

Price means a lot because it mostly has to do with the fabric cost. A cheap suit is a cheap suit. I mean, he spends the same amount I do on suits. I find that a bit insane, to be honest.

Even if a suit is two grand, just have Emelin trip someone into the suit and the price will come down :sarcasm:

St. Louis had a monster goal tonight!

But the extra draft pick we lost for him to be effective at this point could turn into an effective 3rd or 4th liner who would provide depth near the end of Lundqvist's career.

The advanced stats/Corsi BS say the Rangers are a fantastic team. The fact that people figured Pitt would run over us or the Habs were as good as the Rangers is because they also don't care about advanced stats.

One win away from the SCF. I'm in shock. Can't wait for the next game.

Leafs fan coming in immeasurable gratitude. Great job on the win tonight despite the refs' best efforts to stop you. You guys finishing the smurfs on their own ice would bring a smile to my face and giddy laugh would follow. Please send these oompa loompas home.
