Weak answer as usual

Nah, I'm done playing your games. You make wild assumptions based on your 'gut' and then when faced with evidence and carefully thought out replies disproving those assumptions, you don't ever attempt to refute them, you move the conversation elsewhere or just make another, equally wild assumption to avoid ever facing the fact that you are incorrect.

Among players that played all 3 games:

Most shifts: Savard 80
Least shifts: Slafkovsky 44

Best corsi Dach worst corsi Evans

Buddy.

Your whole reply was around Dachs Xgf and corsi, lol.

You dont hold the only account that can reach advanced stats. Everybodys seen that Dach has a good Xgf%, its not changing my opinion. Nor should it be interpreted as fact.

I have said I havent watched the third game and couldnt evaluate him on this one. All Ive seen is him being good in transition, getting mostly offensive starts and not producing much offense. Now, if that is your standard for being "good" fine, its not mine.

Will the Habs score more than one goal tonight...
Also hoping MSL changes the lines up a bit tonight.

Please get Gallagher away from Slafkovsky. Every play dies on Gallagher's stick.
You and several others posted in here with actual expectations of changes?

I was just curious to see if there’d be more “way too early” type threads for the years 2024-2027, including lines.:sarcasm:

The things posters will do to avoid whatever it is we have going on now.

You want to give the Habs a chance? Play an energy guy on the 4th line and start holding slugs like Hoffman accountable.

MSL constantly praises Dadonov....what does he see that we don't?

Maybe you adjust the 2nd PP unit and give Slaf a shot there?

We are in bad shape when players like Wideman QB the 1st unit
I thought Dadonov looked ok on the pk. as a specialist at least he looks like he’s trying and can slot anywhere.

I suspect they want Slaf to learn one thing at a time like the pace and whatever structure they are working on 5v5. Does anyone know if every nhl player gets reps practicing pp, or it’s only special units? Laval on PP1 for 30 games for Slaf with high offensive goals would be good fast ramp up I feel.

It was not only about xGF or Corsi, it was also showing quotes from an article specifically talking about his value in gaining the zone and creating plays off transition.

We know your standard for good is one of two things:
Being a player you like in the NHL or their draft year.
Being so dominant in the NHL that no one could possibly refute their greatness.

Because any evaluation of Dach that doesn't have him grading out as at least 'good' is a poor evaluation. He's literally controlled the ice while he's been out there. He's stripped pucks off players consistently. He's created scoring chances for himself and his line-mates (he's another camera angle and a Gallagher post from being tied for the scoring lead on the team). He's been an automatic zone entry. He's engaged physically and had battles with the opposition in each game.

Does xGF stand for ex-girlfriend?

3 games into the rebuild, all is doomed.

Is he & his wife having a kid?

Hopefully that's all it is.

No way we're beating Pens with Montembeault in net. I'll take not taking a TB-like beat down as a win (give up less than 5 goals good. 5+ goals bad).
I remember a few games where Montembeault was really athletic, i’m hoping for good paced entertainment from this one.

Ya Ive stated I liked his zone entries and neutral zone game.

If you want to be a mini-Leaf fan and overhype players on participation wins, be my guess. I wont call anyone good until they can be fixtures on a contender.
not for Mrb1p, he still hasn't discovered GF

Ah, when I get there though, its going to be easy to do better than your flat zero.
