Too many college guys
not so much too many college guys but more so the roles they’re being used in and line combinations.

A lot of good forwards on the team. How does mcmichael only get given 8 minutes of ice time? Lol.
that's not the rule though. it's determined by where the puck crossed out of the field of play. That's at the boards, not the glass behind the bench. It was above where the glass would be when it went out of play. It was a blown call. simple as that.It isn’t clean over the glass if it doesn’t actually go over the glass. There is no rule against the coach doing what he did. Maybe there should be but there isn’t.

Yeah about 10 minutes into the 1st Canada started just bombing at the American's and it clearly wore them down. Very happy to see as Canada is a much bigger team and hadn't really used their size and strength to that point yet. Got lead into the trenches by the best player though which is always the most effective. Can't be on the 4th line not taking bodies if Laf is out there rolling people.
Laf looks good but let’s see how he looks against men.
My big takeaway is that Lafraniere will be an amazing Oiler for years to come!
I don't know... I feel like we're three number 1 picks away from making the playoffs.lolthey’ll ruin him too

Wild that you guys might have to go through another one of those debates in back to back years...
Hey don’t count out those Devils....My big takeaway is that Lafraniere will be an amazing Oiler for years to come!
Isn’t Taylor Hall with Arizona now?Hey don’t count out those Devils....
Lol, what? They were both some of the best forwards for Canada today.Laf is so much better than Byfield, age or not.
Not sure I agree; USA dominated first, Canada dominated second, and third was very even which ultimately came off a bad turnover by the Americans.I thought they were the better team, but the USA were opportunistic
When the puck is shot into the players’ bench, the penalty will not apply. When the puck is shot over the glass ‘behind’ the players’ bench, the penalty will be assessed.that's not the rule though. it's determined by where the puck crossed out of the field of play. USA dominated maybe the first four minutes of the first. If you’re watching that game and not seeing slanted ice for 55 minutes, I don’t know what to tell you. The only support you’ll find in this thread is Atticus.Lol, what? They were both some of the best forwards for Canada today.

It's a Crosby vs malkin comp imoIf this is a statement in general, then that's fine. But if this statement is based off of who looks better at the tournament, I think you have to remember that Lafreniere already has experience from last year, whereas Byfield is just getting his feet wet.
