It clearly went over the glass and then into the bench area. It’s funny that some can’t acknowledge that. I’m not cheering for the US, I cheer for whichever clubs have Avs prospects. But it did clearly cross over the glass. The TSN commentators knew it.

bad take here. USA coach has the lines all out of wack. He has his skilled shooters playing with defensive grinders. Caufield and Wahlstrom need to be centered by Zegras and Turcotte. That will open space for them and get them the puck in prime scoring position.

Seems more like a team selection problem than a lines problem. There aren't really "defensive grinders" on this team, just high-end offensive, often very young types with some more complete players mixed in, nowhere near equal ratio between them. Pivonka is the only guy who really stands out as a more two-way type and he can bring some scoring in the right role

Yeah about 10 minutes into the 1st Canada started just bombing at the American's and it clearly wore them down. Very happy to see as Canada is a much bigger team and hadn't really used their size and strength to that point yet. Got lead into the trenches by the best player though which is always the most effective. Can't be on the 4th line not taking bodies if Laf is out there rolling people.
