McDavid and Hall are both fast. I'd love to see what would happen if one tried to check the other at full speed.
I wouldn't.

Followed by stage 4 suicide watch on HFoilThe board is optimistic.
NJD playing back to back.
Incoming loss, no doubt!
Disagree, under Hitchcock, the team won games based on sketchy defensive play and decent outputs from Koskinen, McDavid and Draisaitl. 8 of our first 12 games with Hitch were 1 goal games that really felt like they could have gone either way.
Right now we are play fast aggressive hockey, tighter defensive schemes and have depth scoring. The real question is that more on our opponents being weaker to start the season (although I feel the Islanders will be a top 10 team). Time will tell really, but it's okay to have fun while it lasts.
All you folks spooked about a trap game seem to have something in common with Matty. Congrats?
I dont say this too often but Matheson is absolutely right.
This game will be a good tell on this team. They need to jump all over the Devils and do it early.

Don't forget "Turning The Tide" moments. Who will have them?Everyone is predicting goals but how about PIMs? I have heard they are very important too. Which team will gather more PIMs and what will be the margin? If one team has clearly more at last minute, will they cause havoc with six skaters to get more PIMs?
"Sometimes I think our fourth line ices the puck to get more playing time" haha
