We could use some work on our shoot outs. At times we dominated again but just couldnt get that extra goal. 3 out of 4 points isnt bad.

It's not. It's actually pretty awesome. But, it's easier to let the sky fall then try and push it back up.

A point is a point.

Good game. 3 out of 4 points on a back to back, with one game on the road. It ain't perfect, but neither is the game of hockey. Can't complain.

It has very little to do with the shootout. But okay. I'm out since I spoke out against the unholy Kings and now all you guys are going to blindly follow the herd.

IT'S NOT ABOUT ONE ****ING GAME. Christ you guys....

It's a laughable statement even if you're talking about the entire season!

I dont want to whine about the reffing but it was pretty terrible. Calling offside on williams when he had basically a breakway. Just some really bad calls.

Jesus it's a shootout guys.....

The point was important after how bad the kings started this game.

NO

Come on guys, just say no.

We don't need to find an effing scapegoat every single time we lose a game do we?

3 out of 4 points on back to backs. GO KINGS GO!!!!

Yes it sucks not to win but we all know and so does the team and so does that garbage mound of a team in O.C. that we were the better team tonight. We outshot them, outplayed then and outworked them and in the end the beat us in a skills competition that doesn't happen in the playoffs and also by a hack of a garbage acting job.

On to the next one but please, no more effing scapegoating our own team for a change.

We can do it.

So then what is it? Of course Bernier and Quick have ways to improve, but to fire Ranford after all that he's done, I just don't get it.

I think a new thread on the topic might serve you better than commenting after a close loss. Even if it's not, it just sounds like a knee jerk reaction to everyone. Look at the big picture and where we are this year compared to the last few.

Ersberg's lasting influence is why Bernier failed in this shootout. It's the only possible explanation

Quick sucks in the shootout and it's all his fault, but Bernier sucks in the shootout, it's the goalie coach's? Ok, whatever.

Still no big deal, just like I didn't think it was a big deal with Quick. Just keep winning games and you won't have to see that idiotic shootout in the playoffs.

on the brightside, when the Kings trade Bernier, they know how to beat him, play for a tie then get the extra point in the shootout :sarcasm:

Next time we should just pull the goalie in OT for 5min...

Anyways, good game overall despite falling behind. Played well and took control for majority of the game

Thank god there's no shootout in playoff

Quick is coming off major back surgery, Bernier is 9-2-1 and some dude wants Ranford fired. LOL

These PGTs deliver. Who needs the Laugh Factory when we have our own here.

That second line needs a lw. Pens should be back in the line up.

Yup! The Kings need to either stick with TT or get Penner back in there. Clifford is a terrible solution for that line, and him being up there takes away one of our best bottom 6 players.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you lose the OT point if you get scored on with an empty net in OT? I thought I heard that somewhere.

(I know you're joking with that comment, just was curious. :))

Quick is too athletic and over exaggerates following the puck and gets beat and Bernier is the exact opposite by trying to play the shooter positionally and gets beat by not following the puck! Either way it's horrid SO goaltending.

We should focus on keeping the 4th seed and home ice. The SanJose games will be the big ones.
