It's hard to watch that game and blame it on the missing pieces. We had a fully healthy d-corps, Georgiev played really well. Does anyone really believe Hunt, Goodrow, and Reaves would've changed something about that game? We couldn't generate anything, we lacked the poise and the footspeed to counter a super-aggressive forecheck, and we couldn't touch their defensemen who skated circles around our forecheckers.
Our game plan was stupid. It was the same exact mistake as against Vegas, this time with the added joy of Tinordi-Nemeth.
