I've noticed that too. They're letting them do it at will, and the refs are just looking for retaliation.

He just made a great move to gain the middle of the slot and then... passes to the wing. At least he made up for it with that pass to Setoguchi.

Oh for sure. Like when he made a nifty move entering into the zone and he ends up passing it to Brown...I know it ended up being a goal but he's a pass guy first unfortunately
