Emelin's "hipcheck" on Marchand. I seem to remember Marchand getting suspended for a "lowbridge" when he dished one out.
Quaider getting turnbuckled. I seem to remember a similar play that resulted in hundreds of calls to the police when it was Chara dishing it out.
Rask getting checked in open ice. I seem to remember when Lucic took out Ryan Miller, people called him an out and out goon.
Some teams are protected and some teams are targeted. Just fed up with the double standard in the NHL.
The NHL head office needs to have tape of that game sent in to them --that was brutal officiating.
Why narrow it done to last night. BRUTAL all year.
Hab fan base are brutal. Two threads on Marchand and Krug- crying and looking for a suspension. No talk of the hit on McQuaid that was similar to Patches and they had the entire police force out after Chara or the hit on Marchand which was a low bridge by Emilin. Wow! Just amazingly one sided view.

NHL likely to take a look at Torey Krug’s hit on Andrew Shaw

Can't ****ing believe they are reviewing the Krug hit yet Shaw hits McQuaid from behind into the same area where Chara hit Pacioretty and this was worse he hit him knowing where he was. The low bridge by Emelin on Marchand, Marchand got suspended for the same type of hit. Emelin hitting Pasta was borderline, and lets not forget they hit Rask when the new rules clearly state goalies are off limits even outside the crease, if Price had been hit there would have been a habs PP , a suspension and calls into 911. ****ing dirt bag organization if there ever was one.

Publicly calling out the refs is pointless. Completely and utterly pointless. You don't win calls doing it. And, you get fined.
For some reason, it's the wet dream of some posters on here. I don't get it. I'd rather we have a coaching staff (and broadcast team) that is a bit more honest with the fans as far as the problems and at least being conscious of them.
Lucic would have loved to play in that game last night
