Amazed that they won.

Can't believe the friggin refs had to go back and review that two bruins OT goals.

Rask and Pasta are driving this team.

Czarnik caught a bit of a break on his goal, but was great to see after price stopped him on a near identical shot. I was waiting for York to eat his words after saying Price spots those shots every time..

I might be in a minority here, but I really wish the Bruins had signed Radulov for one year vs Backes for 5. Hindsight, but damn would he mom good with Krejci and Pastrnak.

Also would love to have signed Paul Byron of only so he never plays against the bruins again.

Krug and Miller were sketchy at times, but the defense was pretty damn good tonight. Say what you want about the Habs, however they are a solid team that can put up goals. The Bs forecheck was smothering at times which was able to control the pace of the game better. The defensemen did a good job of staying in position. Carlo was flatout phenomenal at times. Quaider and Miller were effective most of the game. And of course Rask was a stud. For a team struggling to score goals tonight's defensive/goalie effort was the only way the Bs had a chance. They delivered.

Emelin's "hipcheck" on Marchand. I seem to remember Marchand getting suspended for a "lowbridge" when he dished one out.

Quaider getting turnbuckled. I seem to remember a similar play that resulted in hundreds of calls to the police when it was Chara dishing it out.

Rask getting checked in open ice. I seem to remember when Lucic took out Ryan Miller, people called him an out and out goon.

Some teams are protected and some teams are targeted. Just fed up with the double standard in the NHL.

I DVR'D the game and watched a lot of it at 4x speed.

Was the officiating as bad as it seemed?

Proud of MCQuaid for taking that one like a man.

It was worse. The fix was in.

Multiple hits from behind let go only to call phantom holds minutes later. The only good thing I can say is that they decided to stop interfering late in the 3rd and both teams got away with some questionable hits. Still, PP's were 10-3 for MTL. One OT goal called back that was clearly in the net...

on top of all that

complaining about refs is one of my biggest pet peeves but tonight was just INSANE

the holding call on Morrow...the no hooking call in OT, no calls on Shaw

just to add to the list.

again not like our PP does anything but still ******** tonight.

Could not agree with you more.
Penalties were 7 to 3 in favour of Montreal. The refs tried to win the game for the Habs once again but failed. Even the play under review tried there best.
What a joke this league has become.

This is one (only) occasion where I wish Harry were still around.

He had no problem calling out the refs or league.

This team is too PC...and where has it gotten them?

Still getting the short end of the stick 70-75% of the time.

Honestly, there was nothing new under the sun in this game. The disgustingly poor officiating is something that I learned to expect vs. the Habs. As far back as I can remember this has been going on to some degree.

PPs were 5-1 right?

It was atrocious. To the point where I'd seen enough and was ready to swear off the NHL altogether if the second OT goal was reversed.

Numerous Habs fans...OUR ARCHRIVAL FANBASE...are saying Bruins fans are justified in *****ing about the reffing tonight.

As probably the biggest complainer about people *****ing about referees, it was more than justified tonight. If Habs fans are saying Bruins fans are righteous in their outrage, then it's real.

Publicly calling out the refs is pointless. Completely and utterly pointless. You don't win calls doing it. And, you get fined.

For some reason, it's the wet dream of some posters on here. I don't get it. I'd rather we have a coaching staff (and broadcast team) that is a bit more honest with the fans as far as the problems and at least being conscious of them.

Was at the game tonight. Lots of B's fans which was nice. Carlo was super solid, such a pleasure to watch a confident D. Clode was really giving it to the refs at one point. Great game let's keep it going.

Czarnik was amazing tonight - saw him make a few good plays on the first PK in the second period, and right after they came off the kill he had an amazing scoring chance.

I know he's got typical first-year issues, but tonight wasn't a game where any of those issues showed. Makes me a little optimistic.

The officiating was a joke - blowing the whistle early, ignoring obvious infractions against the Bruins...just awful. I can't get too mad about the overtime non-goal, because I can't that Pasta was absolutely pushed. But everything else was utter bullcrap.

And **** Andrew Shaw. Couldn't stand him on the Hawks, and really can't stand him on the Habs. I know there's a lot of players out there where you'd say "You'd like him if he's on your team"....and I'll even admit that PK may be one of them. But NOT Shaw. No way, no how. He can crawl back into whatever swamp he came from with the rest of the scum.
