GDT: Game 3: Sharks vs. Canes and Burns 7:30pm NBCSCA

Glad I am not the only one who noticed Vlasic is statistically one of our best possession players so far, and definitely the best of the Dmen so far.

Now....will he keep it up, not likely, but for now all the whining about him seems habitual and not based on his actual play so far this year.

Also helps that Benning makes any defender look like a star in comparison, still boggles the mind we extended him for 4 f***ing years.

Curtis Pashelka is the SJ Mercury News reporter following the Sharks. He's usually the first person to report these things, in my experience.

Sounds like Meier is practicing with PP1 this morning, so he should be playing. Meier-Hertl-Karlsson-Couture-Labanc, with PP2 of Ferraro-Kunin-Benning-Lindblom-Bonino.

No Barabanov according to Sheng Peng, Meier and Ferraro playing.

Lose every road game in regulation and lose every home game in a shootout. Still close entertaining hockey at SAP, but finish the season with 40 points (cuz of the Europe trip). :laugh:

He legitimately looked more like the Vlasic of old in the pre-season games I watched. That was encouraging.

Sharks fired up for this one. Too many things working in their favor. Sluggish start to the season, home opener, amped against Burns, I expect a solid performance from the boys in Teal

Burns and EK65 should drop the gloves at the opening face off and let all that awkward power struggle tension out
