Right now there is no qb, no shooter, no playmaker.

I think the bigger issue is that Celebrini and Eklund are the only guys who can enter the zone with the puck at speed.

Seriously. Now that Mack is hurt the only exciting thing we have is Smith. He’s the Lambo in a field of Chrysler minivans (Eklund is a Town and Country with low miles, to be fair). And what do we get? Endless laps from the minivans around the track, and then 27 seconds of the Lamborghini driving in reverse over speed bumps (Kostin).

A 5 on 3 and 5 on 4 should not be played much differently, just one being closer to the net then the other.

Yes but the basic concepts of the powerplay doesn't change, just the setup gets closer to he net as like you said there is more ice open.

Exactly the reason why he should be the A.

That’s where he stays out the whole pp. that’s where gets 18-20 mins a game.

You are seeing in real time exactly why his development is better served in the A. Not cuz he sucks. Not cuz he’s hated. Just cuz he needs more ice time. More top minutes. More pp practice. All the things he gets in the A but not in the nhl.

This is why I always wanted with Celebrini out, put Smith and Walman on the points, Toffoli net front and then Granlund and Eklund. Makes zero sense having Zetterlund at the point, he is a net front/bumper guy
