The top guys just did nothing on a 5 on 3 and on pp1, they could stand to be a bit more creative

There is zero reason he should not be getting those minutes in the NHL. This is just stupid coaching. Smith as is right now, should be over 15 minutes per game of ice time, with over 2 minutes of powerplay time per game.

This is why I always wanted with Celebrini out, put Smith and Walman on the points, Toffoli net front and then Granlund and Eklund. Makes zero sense having Zetterlund at the point, he is a net front/bumper guy

I'd honestly put Goodrow on PP! and tell him to park in front of the net and don't move.

There is no reason Smith shouldn't be getting prime opportunities. We're in a rebuild. Never should Kostin be playing over him in a top 6 role while he's benched. Especially when Celebrini is injured, you have a single prospect to develop, do it right.

Is it though? This feels like that Colorado game where it's close mostly because of Blackwood. This game has been mostly Dallas on the attack.
