That looks like Vegas gold to me. Not Boston gold.
Saw no one in Yellowknife ever
Maybe even a century!I thought the gold on the centennial whites they wore for the opener looked like Vegas gold too. Why do they have to dick with something that has worked well for decades?
GreatEven *I* expect them to win tomorrow.
stamkos isn't really a center anymore - he's been playing mostly wing for a while. maybe not as long as claude giroux, butI was watching the Sabres / Bolts game last night and they interviewed Stamkos, boy he seems really upset and frustrated that management is not talking to his agent about a new deal until the season is over. What a way to treat your Captain / someone who has been a vital part for many years. I would love to see the Bruins sign him at the end of the year, assuming he wants a 2-3 year deal. We would have to move out some money to afford him, but that would allow us to move Zacha back to the wing / keep Postie as a second line center / Coyle as #3.
Hell froze overEven *I* expect them to win tomorrow.

you're signing him as a winger til he retires.
hard to say no to steven stamkos, but i'd prefer one of the eliases first (pettersson or lindholm). or nylander - pasta's BFF.Can’t think of a cushier setup for Poitras than Marchand and Stamkos on his wings and Pasta on a different line to get attention from top matchups.
Okay then, he can come here.Stamkos has been a winger for a while. Winger and a Pastaesque PP specialist. However, he would still be an asset as a winger. (I keep flashing back to him getting sloshed and having a great time in Boston after a playoff game.)
Appeared that way to me as well. Seriously, Marchy being separated from Bergy is on the same level as if one of the Sedins retired earlier than the other (not in a creepy Sedin sense, but an on-ice sense). I think some frustration is inevitable since after playing years with Bergy he no longer has the luxury of the center knowing exactly where he is going and what he is going to do, and vice versa. Hopefully Poitras and Marchy can figure each other out fairly fast and build good chemistry.Last game Marchand seemed to be a bit frustrated and on edge. Hope he doesn't blow a fuse and get suspended .
It seems to me that Marchy misses a playmaking center desperately also. His new role seems to be that of forechecking cornerman, which is far from ideal. Poitras may be a playmaking center a couple of years from now, but Sweeney I hope you can get Marchy a decent center. (At this rate, I would take a pass first and hardly score guy like Andrew Casels..)Appeared that way to me as well. That's pretty much Coyle, he's just not a top line tier player for consistent stretches. It seems to me that Marchy misses a playmaking center desperately also. Poitras just making the team is already a couple years ahead of when many thought he would be wearing the spoked-B. Maybe he can continue to develop at hypersonic pace and be a legit playmaker with Marchy at some point this season. Hoping for a lot, I know. Sorry. but Coyle is not a top six center. He is too slow and overhandles the puck because he can. That's pretty much Coyle, he's just not a top line tier player for consistent stretches.
Did you read my post?Sorry. but Coyle is not a top six center. He is too slow and overhandles the puck because he can.
