Why would we trade Strome for a pick? Who's going to replace him?

At some point you have to have expectations to contend. These players won't be on cheap contracts forever. Panarin won't be elite forever.

Trading Strome for a pick is one step closer to us becoming Buffalo

2 of his penalties I wouldn’t criticize him. One was necessary to save a goal and the other was a made up rule were you can review missed calls bc G-rox laid on the ice long enough.

2 of them were careless high sticking penalties and it's not like its the first time he has taken stupid penalties. I like his upside but I have no problem with him being sit today.
