It's hard to not be impressed with Buch's season, it's just a matter of cap and who we have behind him.

At some point you have to have expectations to contend. These players won't be on cheap contracts forever. Panarin won't be elite forever.

Trading Strome for a pick is one step closer to us becoming Buffalo

Some UFA this offseason maybe. Maybe Chytil steps up.

Strome isn't seen as a long term solution for this team, his contract is up next year. If you can get a good asset for him, you move him.
