Add Savard to trade deadline list, kids are doing fine without him.
The list is long, even 4-5 bodies outta here would be great.

Savard - yes
Edmundson - possible (not if other 2 vets go)
Wideman - Yes
Drouin-Yes (Good luck getting a bag of broken sticks though)
Dadanov - Yes, whatever you can get.
Dvorak- Yes, Beck can take his spot next year.
Hoffman - See Dadanov
Armia - PLEASE, $3.1 AAV for two MORE years! GOOD LUCK!
Gallagher - Hughes a miracle worker if he can unload that contract.
Anderson - ZERO HOCKEY iQ; YES For a 1st
Monahan - No resign him unless the offer is ridiculous.

It was a far fetched penalty. The hit was clean and was barely late. Its just Slaf not looking up once again.

It happens too much with Slaf at this point. 5 times in 20 games? Come on, I have scrambled eggs for brains and I really wouldve liked someone to make the correct choices for me when I was 15-18 playing sports.

The Schenn hit wasn't a high hit though. It was straight to the chest. I imagine Slafkovsky was winded.

He's had 2 high ones: Brown, which he scored on, and was cheap, and the elbow by Dickinson which was a dirty play.

The Minnesota hit, he let up on, as he was at the end of shift, was near the bench & was tired. It was very much a "oh thank god, I can change" then gets hit.

That's 4?

Boudreau looks like he's got a permanent sunburn
He's been spending time at the Gene Principe Tanning Salon.

Finally caught up to you folks. Wow. What a period after a terrible start. Monty ma man!!!

And… I hate to say it, but I don’t think Slaf is going to have a long career. Maybe it’s too soon for him. But f*** man. He is getting rocked every second game.

When you're no. 1 D can't actually play defence, you got a problem. When was the last time Canucks even drafted in the top 3, the Sedin twins? Like Toronto, they prematurely stopped the rebuild. But unlike Toronto, they didn't get a Matthews and then a Tavares in FA
Not top-3 but Pettersson was 5OA in 2017

Four or five theyre all lack of awarness to me. Not ready.

Yeah, i know, still, one cannot 'not like' that guy. What a move from Hugues but it's on Monahan for having prepared well this summer and performing like that in season. What a player!

I hope we really bleed whoever wants him for a cup run, that's not Lehkonen here... (although i loved Lehky)
Does Colorado win the cup without Lehkonen? I'm not sure. Colorado doesn't win cups without our help.

It is a concern right now for sure. He played in the Liiga or Finnish junior leagues since he was 16. There simply isn't as violent hitting there, and if it does happen, it's not as fast. It's the speed & weight of some of the hits. He's not prepared for it.

I also think he's not NHL ready. I thought he should spend a year in the AHL. I said pre-draft, post-draft and since. I feel he needed some time to adjust to NA hockey. Colorado did it for Rantanen. There's hitting in AHL, but it's at a slower speed. Problem is there's zero protection down there, so it's not an option as long as they refuse to get a tough guy.

Hopefully, Slafkovsky is learning from these hits & they're talking to him about it.

The AHL does not have hits at a slower speed. Sorry. And there’s more hitting.

Yeah, Sedins 1999. 2nd & 3rd.

Pettersson was a 5th, as was Juolevi (yikes), and Hughes 7th.
