I hate to know we might trade Monahan for (at least) a first and/or prime prospect... how many guys can be THAT guy for our young forwards? What a dilemna... he could be a young Perry to us for a few years and show the kids some tips. I'm happy he has the A on his shirt, he's captain material if i ever saw one.

It was back on Sept. 26th, when the Devils were in town, that Tatar had a lengthy on ice chat with Slaf after the game. Tatar appeared to be telling Slaf that he has to keep his head up.

Since then, Slaf has suffered several hits on account of a lack of awareness and being lackadaisical. No substitute for experience, however. It'll take the time it'll take.

Hopefully Slaf’s buddy listened to Tatar’s word of advice.

This one has been beaten to death already. We trade him for maximum return, if he wants to be a Hab he can sign with us in the off season. Anything else would be Bergevin style bad move.

He’s never had too because of his size. Caufield learned in Bantam. But I like the fact he has a good chin. He needs to be slightly more careful, but not too much.
