Full credit to Monty, he really put in the work this offseason and it shows. He really cleaned up his positioning in net. He seems ready for the first and second attempt.

Eval is that he's a great athlete to start with, he's still young (26) and reaching his prime with maturity, putting in the work required. If not a first, he could be a really solid 2nd for many many years. That was a nice grab on potential but it was for him to take the steps to have success.

Playing at home for the team of his youth, having a real chance and playing a lot, jee, this was the time to do it right boy, you're not going to have any better than this
