Their announcers were just saying when our players "run the goalie" that they need to "drop them". They sound a tad grumpy right now.

They did it again right after the goal. They do it more then any team I can remember.

I don't remember the Jackets having these dominating performances more than once per year in past seasons. This team is shocking

...what is this? Our "third unit" power play? :)

EDIT: Also, I am going to be a real b**** about pointing out that Nutivaara play there the next time someone complains about him getting "turnstiled all the time". :D

They had streaks but not consistency.....

Torts has leveled out the team with discipline and work.... That said, Bobrovsky staying healthy is key...

I listened to the game on radio and watched on TV. Really liked what Andrew Cassels brought to the broadcast. I hope that they make him a regular. It always adds when you have an articulate former player as the color analyst. Jody does a great job on TV. Hope Cassels or someone like him is on the radio feed from now on. Also love Ryan Mitchell does a great job as well. Really sounds like a professional broadcast

Kaboomski.

Danny Gare reference.

Gare was actually a great color guy for us, he's HOF too.... To bad the CBJ fans dissed him just because he's from Buffalo and FAKED NEWS about him being drunk all the time.. In the end that wasn't fair...

They had streaks but mainly even when playing well they ground out wins with gritty play, good goaltending and good structure under Hitch and Richards. I used to love the tension of a 0-0 game into the third period when Hitchcock was coach. Every once in a while those Jackets would control a game now and then. This is different. In several games this team just controls the ice and even plays a puck possession game. This team is playing much better than any of its predecessors.

I liked Gare. Can't remember why he wasn't retained.

I liked him. He's probably off somewhere doing yeomans work while giving somebody a facewash.

He had good enthusiasm.
