*swoons* is that possible? Dare we hope? Someday maybe?Apparently skating nonstop and moving defenders out of position creates chances.

Didn’t come remotely close to achieving their expectations when coming off a President’s Trophy season. Or something like that, I was born a year before that. What happened then?
There were a few mistakes (overpaying for grit) and a handful of 50-50 things that I would have done differently (not shopping Kreider after his 50 goal year, though I actually like his game today), but ultimately it looks like they got one average NHL player in Kakko, one below average Alexis Vesey who will hang around rosters for a while, and two zeroes out of the 1st, 2nd, 7th and 9th overall picks in the draft.
I don't know what to do with that or if it's even possible to blame ownership/management that much
The Blackhawks got blown out last night- if there was ever a time to try and bring in Kane it’s now. Figure out the salaries to mark it happen, give them Kappo, Jones and whom ever makes the salaries work and do the trade tomorrow. This roster is going no where and getting there very quick.
That was me.Someone on here talked about their young daughter who called him Taco Taco, and it really resonated with me. (unfortunately not sure the username at this point!)
Hearing all the people saying "don't worry, they'll get it done next season" was beyond frustrating. We were up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals and blew it. There's no other way to interpret what happened.I actually cannot describe how much I hate this team. ECF appearance followed by this shit.
This is why I was so pissed when we couldn't get it done last year. People told me they'll be back and the window is still open. Sometimes you don't go back. It isn't that easy.
100% serious. You guys think they have an unlimited window here- they don’t. The team has basically this year and maybe next before some huge decisions need to be made. They can’t waste this season waiting for Kappo to get his act together or Jones who will, at best be a fringe NHL talent. The time is now.You can’t possibly be f***ing serious
But does P Kane and his 3 goals, 0 defensive play and 0 physical play really do anything for us?Really? So you’d like to watch this crap for the rest of the season and miss one of the only windows this team is gonna have? Dude you want a rebuild— THEY HAVE A NUMBER ONE AND NUMEBR TWO PICK THEY HAVE DESTROYED!
Please can this board at least make sense. An organization that can’t develop talent should attempt a rebuild. It’s laughable!!
Along with Jones.I bet Kravtsov is still scratched next game
Doesn't make it acceptable. Most rebuilds fail, the Oilers are in year 8 of McDavid, the best player in hockey, and they have 1 Conference Final to show for it.
Buffalo, is in what there 19th rebuild?
I also think its not time to give up on either Kakko or Laf. If you're blaming those two, who had to fight tooth and nail and earn every second of ice time they got, then you are taking the easy way out.
This is a top guys, goaltending, coaching and management problem.
Too guys need to be better. Panarin looks better today. Need more 5v5 from Zib and Kreids. Trocheck hasn't quite fit.
Halak has been crap. Igor has not been good.
Gallant needs to consider growing a pair and really shaking it up. Not just shuffling the same 6 guys and then reverting back when that doesn't work either.
Management started with Gorton. NMC to Trouba and overpay. Drury, who was brought in to not be Gorton, did same with Trocheck. Why is NYR management so hellbent on their guy that they overpay in $$ and term and NMCs to make it work. It handcuffs the team in cap, trades, and lineup decisions.
Bunch of bull. NJ has been a clown show for a decade. It shouldn't take 10 years to rebuild. They also haven't won a damn thing yet either. Let them win a playoff round before you crown them. We were 2 wins from the finals last year in case you forgot. That's what happens during a rebuild until they all hit and now we see the result of NJ's patience while actually developing and growing and building up their young players. Instead of finding every excuse known to man to destroy their careers.
What doesn't make sense is trading assets for an over the hill has been that the team has no control over after this season is over.Really? So you’d like to watch this crap for the rest of the season and miss one of the only windows this team is gonna have? Dude you want a rebuild— THEY HAVE A NUMBER ONE AND NUMEBR TWO PICK THEY HAVE DESTROYED!

I like that. God help me it did make me think of this:Someone on here talked about their young daughter who called him Taco Taco, and it really resonated with me. (unfortunately not sure the username at this point!)
Can't change the lineup when we're playing great like this.I bet Kravtsov is still scratched next game
Curse of KravtsovI bet Kravtsov is still scratched next game
