Yeah, this has been his worst game as a King in my opinion. He has been noticeably bad throughout the entire game. Haven't noticed a good shift yet, but I do notice at least one big mistake per shift.

I don't want us to follow the NHL script of evening up powerplays in the 3rd. We need to earn a PP.

Dallas has been surprisingly disciplined, considering our lengthy time cycling in their end.
 
Ellerby and Martinez are both playing like crap. We had better get two point out of this, the way our top 6 are playing.
 
I'm happy with their play but I still can't wait for Mitchell and Greene to come back. I'm so sick of stupid penalties and broken coverage. Offense has been bailing out the team a lot this year, as weird as that sounds. I just don't think you can make defensive mistakes like this and still win in the playoffs.

They have been the weakest pairing, wondering if Ellerby's dismal play is bringing Martinez down.

Drewiske should get back into the lineup in place of Ellerby in the next game. Oh how I wish the Kings had acquired Mike Weaver instead of Ellerby from Florida...

The first one was a Phantom call, other than that though they earned their penalties.

No. It's so stupid and such a waste of time to discuss it. Two completely different sports.

I think that would be the best thing all the way around and would like to see it too. Ellerby should sit every game or two and watch from the box. Get a different perspective and see how it goes. DavisD is more than capable of playing solid for us as a plug in.

NBA also has a salary cap.. although they have a luxury tax where you can go over the cap by paying a tax for every dollar over the cap, I wouldn't mind seeing the NHL do that, but the NBA in the last CBA has been more stricter with that to create more parity like the NHL.
