After 20 games;
Josh Anderson is useless in every aspect
Center is still a HUGE hole with ZERO depth
Alex Newhook can't pass.
Barron is a turnover machine
This team is worse than last year.
Trade a goalie now!
Speciality team are still costing us games.
With 3 goals already, Kovacevic has equaled his "record" in 77 games from last season.
What Button said about Slaf ?
If you think, like I do, that tanking is bad and dangerous (because you can turn into EDM or BUF or TOR) then you'd understand why I'm so upset about the Slafkovsky and Reinbacher picks. We don't have time to waste and risk with projects. Swing for the fences or this is all for naught anyway.I absolutely went off on Bergevin for years. But I also gave him a chance. All of these guys deserve a chance before we start to flame them. I think you’re very premature on it with HuGo. There will be a time and place if they don’t turn things around.
I thought Harris was horrible on that right side. His physical deficiencies seemed magnified from what I recall.Harris saving grace is that he can play RD. otherwise he would be in big trouble. I like Struble so far.
I like the "trade everything that works" and keep everyone else mantra.. Makes me feel like a true tank mechanic.After 20 games;

Suzuki.. 17 points in 19 games... 9th in ice-time among forwards, ahead of only Pezzetta, Evans, and Ylonen.It seemed to be out with Monahan and Pearson, which is just f***ing idiotic. Anderson skates fast in a straight line and shoots, or pass/throws it to the net. Pearson and Monahan can't keep up, so there's never anyone there.
The whole coaching staff seems idiotic. Management seems idiotic. There's not a lot of hope here.
Sharks aren't giving up many high danger scoring chances, force the play to the perimeter and allow low danger scoring chancesI have read/heard this analogy many times and could you explain how MSL is getting outcoached today?
Dach getting hurt sucked so bad. With him we’d have center depth for the first time in forever. Nick, Dach and Monahan would’ve been great.Dach injury is a massive problem, but also show how our C depth is poor. Monahan is a good 3C, Evan can do the job on 4C, but Dvorak is AHL level right now and we are SOL in terms of other options.
Barron is bad...
Slaf had two things to work on in order to become an NHL top6 player.Biron's talking about Slafs play in front of the net on Kovacevic's goal... Maybe Slaf IS coming along... who knows...
We have been struggling all season when teams keep us on the boards, it's not just today. What sort of set plays are you referencing? I haven't noticed much but I will say that the Sharks don't give up the blueline as easily as we do and they are physical that's for sure.Some set plays and positionings on the Sharks side has really caused trouble for the Habs. And the Habs seem to have not game planned for it at all.
How they stack against the boards (on O and D) and stuff like that seems completely rehearsed but the Habs don't have any counter.

Slaf is our best forward today, only one able to complete passesBiron's talking about Slafs play in front of the net on Kovacevic's goal... Maybe Slaf IS coming along... who knows...
Was always amused by those claiming 1st pairing upside for Harris …. has always been nothing more than a better skating Josh GorgesHarris saving grace is that he can play RD. otherwise he would be in big trouble. I like Struble so far.
Hoffman, in Montreal, is in no way comparable. He constantly turned the puck over and made stupid passes, while floating.Hoffman is actually a good comparison to the way Caufield plays, if scoring he's valuable but if not, he isn't able to contribute much to the outcome of the game.
