Holl is pretty serviceable if he can be carried by a competent partner. He's not afraid to take hits to make plays, and will block shots. He has his limitations, but so does pretty much every player. It's on the coach to find a way to get the most out of his players, and Keefe clearly drops the ball with Holl.

What can't happen is another night of Giordano-Holl playing like they did in game 1. They have been pretty good together most of the year, but Tampa did an incredible job exploiting their lack of speed and mobility and they were both frankly soft and made sloppy mistakes that can't happen in the playoffs. It's probably not a matchup you want to throw out there for Tampa to exploit, because they've proven that they easily can.

Also, maybe they didn't need to play the 39 year old in 78 games this year. I wonder why he looks so tired
Tampa has all of the tape in the world on Holl and Giordano at this point. They've been planning on exploiting that lack of mobility for a long time. It's actually gonna be entertaining to see how Keefe adapts to this. They didn't even need to use speed to embarass Holl, Perry just looked mean and Holl avoided contact with him.

Let me the first to respond to the “suck it haters” posts if someone actually does something tonight, suck eggs :)

They deserved every single sub atomic particle of scorn they received. Tonight is a new chance, and I suspect we show up and play hard.

Agreed, and I don't think anyone was dismissing the game, I think there was just a lot more negativity about the series than there needed to be... negativity for the game, all warranted.

New game tonight, let's make it a best of 5.

GLG .. Sammy has all da skills in world to match up and beat Vasi straight up .. hopefully he can get himself into his ZEN zone where he is playing shinny with friends .. to all fans going down to game tonight just let Sammy be .. he needs all of our QUIET support
Speaking of quiet, he needs to be quieter in net... he was overreacting/overplaying on numerous plays. Nerves?

I was at the media availability again today. Keefe looks so stressed. Didnt look promising.

Cooper on the other hand was so confident, the guy has an amazingly pozitive vibe around him. This guy knows what he is doing and where his team is at.

Went to the locker room as well because the interview with O'Reilly and Schenn was there. It was shocking, seeing the place of Matthews Tavares Marner etc, and the whole thing.

O'Reilly was the only person who didnt really look nervous to me, just all business. Schenn was really nice but I think he also feels the pressure that it is Toronto now again.

Awesome experience.

Yeah I think so. I have faith in him. That's what I was thinking too. Over reacting and letting out way more rebounds then he normally does.

A lot of times I noticed tampa going to the middle of the ice and shooting low and playing a crash and bang style. The Leafs D needs to box them out much better this game but also if they're not blocking the shot... get the f*** out of the way and let Sammy see it. He has to keep the rebounds down as best as he can.

All the pressure is on the Leafs tonight. Immense pressure to win tonight. Game 1 was so embarrassing. Tampa can smell blood in the water.

Perry is a Leaf killer, very concerned about him. Leafs don't have an answer for him.
If the Leafs cant't handle 38-yr old Corey F-ing Perry then they are truly pathetic.
