TB is also 10-0 all time after going up 2-0 in a series, and 13-2 after going up 1-0, having won 7 series in a row where they were up 1-0.

Well now I know why we got Wes in the first game. Thanks

Apparently, Furlatt is the ref from the game where Bunting was getting assaulted and no calls were made, and Keefe said Kyle was going to talk to the league after. He also reffed game 7 last year with McCauley last year with that infamous 'pick' call, amongst other bad calls.

So not sure this is much better.

I dismissed this stuff initially because it seemed like a lame excuse.

But that list is pretty suspicious on its own merits. When you add in the very real conflict of interest regarding Keefe and McCauly being a brother in law of Frost... yeah. I dunno. I honestly just don't know what to say about this one.

We are gonna be Leafy tonight, build a 4-1 lead going into the 3rd... then Leaf stuff happens... Jays are playing tomorrow night...

Our coach must stop thinking that 3 and 78 and 55 and 2 are going to help them win. 22 and 44 should each get 25 minutes plus. Both can skate the puck out and help our forward group out.
Start 34 and 16 and not give them 10 seconds in the first 4 minutes of the game.

Our coach is playing checkers facing a coach playing chess.

Lilly should be in as well as he is another D man who can think and skate.

0-8 how is that possible , even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while... LOL what a farce...

I’m thinking we need a speech writer/answer man.
Seriously, if I’m the coach after that game, media talks to no one but me. I don’t throw any player under the bus, I simply say when you lose the opening game of the playoffs 7-3 in your building I didn’t like anything tonight. That’s it, not that hard. We are trying to avoid losing 7 1st rounds in a row in case the guys on the team missed that.
You're right, it's not that hard. It's mostly just a little bit of common sense and awareness of how the fan base feels which makes it all the more bizarre that these guys just don't seem to be capable of doing it. Oh well, I resigned myself a while ago to the fact that they just can't do it so as long as they win on the ice, I'll be happy. Still waiting ...

Maybe the coach can get his team ready to play this time.

I have some white stuff that will get anyone start on time

Or better start handing out Viagras. It worked for Roger Clemens. He used to take one before games. Won him a Cy Young

Just mix some pre workout- some viagras and some powder. I dont' know and I don't care
Absolutely no excuse for not starting on time.

I better feel the building shaking

It's time these boys grow a D******

35+ years as a Leafs fan has turned me into a bit of a pessimist when it comes to making predictions.

I keep having this vision of the game tonight going to OT, where the Leafs dominate; but the Lightning get one on a flukey bounce and win it.

I think expecting failure almost softens the blow a bit? I do love being proven wrong though.

If Lighting get the first goal, it will plant the seed of doubt in Sammy's head
Sammy is fragile as the cheap condoms I used to use back in high school

If they come out flat today they deserve all the hate they will receive

The entire team is fragile

Playing our best centers all on different lines is a great idea that clearly should have happened in game 1, as the bottom 6 was predictably terrible. Not making changes to the defense is pretty scary, as they were exploited so easily. Overall, I think the Leafs will put in a much better effort but with Vasilevskiy and Samsonov in net for each team it may not even matter

I know there some serious hate on Holl but he is who he is.
But nobody scares me more now than Gio. He simply can't skate at all it seems
