I know some here just hate to admit when a first round pick is a bust.

Derek Forbort isn't Colten Tuebert bad, but he has been a complete disaster of a 1st round pick. Going on 7 years since the pick and still not an NHL caliber player.

We will call up Gravel this year, right?

Right? Or should I just give up that hope...

This season isn't going to be all bad, considering the disaster that Dean has been since 2014 we desperately need to re-stock the system, like desperately. Nothing against LaDue, Kempe, Mersch. But you need to be able to add players better than this atleast every two years.

I'm looking forward to a very high pick this June, plus whatever we get for some of the veterans that we move along the way. I know people will object, but if the wheels do fall off, this is the year the Kings have to move Carter to get full value back. Carter turns 32 in a couple of months and the Kings probably won't be contending for 2-3 years at the earliest, he has to be moved to a contender for some nice young pieces.

Tarasenko. ****...Etem has done more haha.

This team has like 10 legit players and that's it.

Dowd has skill and spunk and still sits. Joke store.

Forbort is up because the Kings are worried about waivers, which they don't have to worry about with Gravel.

But honestly, I'd be shocked if anyone claims Forbort, and even if they did, who cares at this point, it's almost unheard of for a former 1st round pick to make an impact this late in the process.

I hope, Dam. I was hoping it would be as part of a late season push, but it may be as a pure tryout only.

Well Marty can't anchor his own line, he just can't. So Muzzin/Drew will have to be split up.

McNabb is just brutal to start this season, he may lose his spot.

You may see both Gravel/LaDue get a bunch of games.

It's possible.

So if you wanna win against us just score a goal. If they score 2 blowout. I'm gonna be sick. I'm gonna say it again. If Clifford, Nolan, Andreoff, Stone hands, king, Purcell, Setoguchi, Shore, Brown make up the majority of the team I don't care about injuries or not it won't be pretty.

Hey. Let's blame Dustin Brown. It's gonna be a long season, Kings fan, so let's agree on the hate. Dangit, Dustin Brown.

Giant bust. Jesus Christ. Classic Kings moment being at that draft thinking Tarasenko was happening.

Nope. Project D Man haha. Giant 6 foot 5 tampon. No snarl, no offense. Just..."there".

I think it would be surprising if they could get back the same value that they gave up to get him. Like you said, he turns 32, and he's still got a cap hit of $5m for 5 years after this season. How many contenders can absorb that?

Brown is going through the motions, he looks checked out completely.

He gets paid millions, regardless of what happens too him.
