The team still has Kopitar/Doughty/Muzzin/Carter. At some point they have to put something on the board.

They all can't blame their team-mates, and continue to put up zero's. Doesn't work that way.

We are seeing exactly how meaningless the possession numbers are. Flyers attack the middle of the ice and score a pair of goals, Kings control the puck along the perimeter and never attack the middle of the ice. Same story as the game on Wednesday.

Same reason they signed Purcell. These guys are to replace the offense provided from Lucic and Williams in years past.

Obviously it's an arbitrary and random day, and what we see on a calendar doesn't actually exist outside of the human imagination, but I'm just sayin'...don't win the Cup on Friday the 13th.
