Surprisingly, the 3rd and 4th line looked decent out there.

Given that the kings back off with a 4 goal cushion

I actually feel like Quick stole this one for LAK in the first.

Combination of bad giveaways, bad defense, great goaltending on their side and the always solid combo of diving+questionable hits from the opposition. Not too surprised we lost.

Upside is we gave some time for the 3rd and 4th liners to get a kick out of playing in the NHL? Enjoyed watching Sestito get called for his malicious hit on the boards.

I miss the skill level we displayed in 2011.

While I'm glad we're winning this year, and doing so with a lot of positives, it just doesn't have the excitement that 2011 displayed.

Hopefully we continue to build upon this season though. A cup fixes everything :D

The real stretch didn't really start until after the 7-1 Blackhawks loss or whatever it was in mid November... that's when the Canucks started dominating.

Well of course that team was better. I know certain people on here always argue that to an extent and say that on paper it's pretty close(or that it's actually better now:laugh:) but I disagree. That team was something special. Just dominating and almost flawless.

Regardless, I enjoy the always relentless attitude that this team displays. Nice change over the last 2 years at least.

mark lee is getting borderline orgasmic over bieska tonight...a couple of times even described him as nasty with a deep cadence in his voice

He probably was told about all the tweets of people complaining about his complimentary comments of the Kings for a long time.

I would like to point out that with all the "physical" play, hooking, clutching, etc. in this game, that somehow the Canucks only got one legitimate power-play.

ONE ****ING PP?!?

How is that even possible?

Check my posts. I never complain about the officiating, but this was deplorable.

The Kings are officially my most hated team in the league.

Such a disappointing effort. After good games in Phoenix and San Jose I thought the Canucks would be able to handle the Kings as well. That sure didn't happen. Also very disappointed that the top line was totally ineffective in another big division matchup.
