Went to meet my dad somewhere to watch the game. Haven't watched a game with him since game 7 against Boston. So of course this happens. I'm trying to convince him the canucks are worth watching this year. No really they've been outstanding lately really impressive. Sigh.

Why does the Game 7 loss always come up on nights like this? I mean, up until this game (which is going to happen over an 82 game season) the Canucks have looked great. Nothing like the last two years.

Why does the Game 7 loss always come up on nights like this? I mean, up until this game (which is going to happen over an 82 game season) the Canucks have looked great. Nothing compared to the last 2 years.

Yeah I think that's why I'm not all that worried. Much easier to brush off losses like this with the team playing well in general up to this point.

Now if they lose tomorrow...

I miss the skill level we displayed in 2011.

While I'm glad we're winning this year, and doing so with a lot of positives, it just doesn't have the excitement that 2011 displayed.

Hopefully we continue to build upon this season though. A cup fixes everything
