Does penner have any history of cheap shots? I can't recall much. Seems out of character for him which makes me feel like it was accidental. Unless there is some motive I missed. Still, probably should have been two minutes accident or not.
 
Carter and kopitar amaze me with there moves The teams playing well overall. Berniers best game this year imo. He only juggled the puck once that i saw Imo he got better as the game went along. Hes starting to prove what most kings fans think he can be a starter. go kings go

Penner should have got 2 minutes and that's it. Looked like a common interference call you would normally see along the blue line
 
Anyone expecting Bernier to make beautiful saves doesn't know his strengths, he's going to make tough plays look easy, his positioning makes it look easy, and his positioning was pretty great today. I'm not gonna lie but he was square at all times. He's not the athletic goalie that will make spread eagle saves, hes gonna be square and make it look easy.

Gotta agree with this. Bernier looked shaky as hell. Bobbled almost every puck he touched, including one into his own net. Glad we won and good for him to fight through it, but he did not look great.

Nothing bernier did tonight looked "easy". He looked awkward as two virgins on senior prom night.
 
We've caught up to the Blues, Sharks, Dallas, Phoenix, Nashville, Detroit, and are now in striking distance away from Vancouver. Looking very good.

Honestly, this might be a top 10 goal from him

I'll tell you one thing. Anze will have a hell of a highlight reel when his career is finished. unreal reach and hands. beauty to watch on occasion.
 
Bernier is technical, Quick is athletic. They are both awesome, they just have different styles. What's the argument for? Isn't it a good thing to have two goalies that can give you outstanding performances?
 
The hits on Cleary and Smith both looked like shoulder contact to me.

As for the game, I think Sutter is none too pleased. It was a poor effort for the most part. The Wing's speed surprised me and gave the Kings problems all night.
