mcnabb played his best game as a king so far. Power play woke up finally We so need to keep that going. It would make it a lot easier on our defense to have leads to work with. 1-0 without King just saying

I know, all he had to do was turn his blade, redirect it and its in. The thought of shooting the puck never crossed his mind, it was all pass. The entire right half was open, and I don't think he even looked up.

hehe. Same here.

He didn't have a very good game, but I guess it happens.

I enjoyed how much we hit the Anaheim players.

Also, we are now even in point totals in the season series, but our win counts for more because it wasn't in the shootout! Yay, Go kings!

I had a blast at the game.

Just was reading the Ducks' board. A lot of butt-hurtness over there. One guy (gal?) said the Kings just celebrated like they won the Stanley Cup. I was tempted to post the last Cup celebration video and note the difference, but thought better of it. :)
 
I watched the first "Mighty Ducks" film this morning before the Kings/Ducks game. It was my girlfriend's first viewing of the film as well. I love the part where even the kids on D5 mock the Ducks name when Emilio comes up with it.

They really were throwing the term "dive" around today, especially on the OT penalty. It was a clear visual hooking call and Kopitars skate was kicked out as he turned, no dive at all.
 
As frustrating as this season has been with the Voynov situation and the injuries to Regehr and then Martinez, the Kings are in a pretty good position in the standings. As long as they are in close contact with Vancouver, Calgary, and San Jose I am not worried, because 2nd or 3rd place is a very attainable goal.

We all know that for the Kings, it's just about making the playoffs, then the real season starts.
