I think it’s the first game Caufield will play against his buddy Hughes.

When the devils came here last season Cole was in Laval (bad memory) or when they played there at the end of the year Hughes was injured.

Our veterans keep getting injured which leaves the door open for young players to stay in the lineup. Did anyone see a possible injury to Drouin or Armia during Saturday's game? I watched all of it and saw nothing. When it comes to injuries, are teams on their own when it comes to sitting players? Does the league ever get involved?

Yes they both left the game for few minutes at some point during the game but came back

It don't matter cause guys on IR (vs LTIR) are a big negative. You don't save cap space and you got to replace them on the roster. It's worse when you replace them with a guy on the AHL roster cause it actually lowers your cap space.

NHL won't get involved with IR type injuries unless the player files a grievance. It's likely Drouin and Armia are dealing with minor injuries and they are getting a rest.

Tell me you're clueless without telling me you're clueless. Vanecek has a .909 and has only been in net for half of our wins. Vanecek's nothing more than "fine". The skaters have been DOMINANT and that's the reason for the success. Also that's literally not how he was acquired lol

The power blue and last year's reverse retro just feel like gimmicks that have nothing to do with the team or its history to sell jerseys...

I really enjoyed all of the Centennial jerseys as far as aesthetics is concerned. The barber shop shirts just shouldn't have been paired with barber shop socks. That was a bit much.

Habs rarely won with the blue jersey.

The f*** are you talking about. Vanecek has been, at best, clearly below average They're winning because they've been the best 5v5 team in the NHL and have a good PK.
