What happened to JD? He played saturday..............and there was no injury that we saw, or was reported?
Is this a result of being told he could go on waivers?

They should put him on LTIR for the remainder of the season and get a bad contract for a draft pick from a team trying to get better this season.
To put Drouin on LTIR until the end of the season, Habs need to provide medical proof he won't be able to play until the season is over (the NHL actually validate this). It doesn't appear to be this kind of long term injury...yet.

After that, the Habs will have to waive someone to accept a contract dump because they are at max active roster players.

He caught what Dadonov had. :dunno: Sooner or later one of them might catch something terminal.

As in terminal with this team not illness.

If you understand French, a must watch 10 minutes

some of the quotes:

"we are in November, it's early in the season, we've seen even the best teams have a 3, 4 or 5 losses in a row, we won't take any decision based on the fact that we are playing above .500 in novembre"

"I think we need to continue to develop the youngsters. And if we continue to win, so much the better. I hear that we are winning too much. But we think the locker room and the culture are very important. We've seen very talented teams fail to succeed, the winning culture is important" hear here the maple leafs

"I like to remain flexible about the decisions and wait to get there before taking them. Do I plan to trade the future to enhance the team if we are 8th and fighting for the wild card? No, talking about trading a first pick? No"

I'm gonna stop worrying, and you should do the same, think he knows what he doing ;)

Jeff Gorton said a lot of the same things as well during his interview with Tony. Talked about the importance of a winning culture and they are building for the long term (and to contend long term).

Devils are going for a 10 game winning streak. Habs are going to make sure that does NOT happen tonight in their building.

4-2 Habs, with a statement game from Allen. Slafkovsky scores on the PP!

Neither of our goalies have a reverse retro setup for their pads. We easily have the most boring goalie setups in the NHL.

Hoff with a GWG
I can still remember when Hoff was a star on that Baywatch show before becoming an NHL player with the Sens. :sarcasm:

I would be *as-tound-ed* if ANYONE gives him a contract next year

I cant believe he could be so good at 21, and career over by 28
I really cannot believe this guy
He just cant disappear off the books fast enough
A fifth wheel in Tampa who thought he was better than he was, who could not deal with adversity, was never that good in my books. Off the books out of sight and out of mind. Coming to a theatre near you.

They were brought in to rebuild/reset this team and so far, things are looking good. It would have been great to have such a brain trust in power when we had our previous young core in 2012, I feel that things would have been much better.
Carey Price absolutely agrees with you Craig.
