One of those things is not like the others.

Drink in all the Stoll you want this season, Kings fans. It's gonna be Jarret's last in LA. Richards has and will continue to prove he's our third line center through the remainder of his contract.
 
Still is just such a non factor outside the face off circle. Love the guy and clearly he loves the community/team and the community/team love him, but it's going to be impossible to retain him as a 4c when he will be completely replaceable by shore.
 
I for one am shocked, shocked, that the Canucks were exposed as frauds and are actually trash

Man, we bring the heat when we play the Canucks! Taste the fire! (Speaking of which, my local El Pollo Loco burned down this week. Sad day.)

The 5 D thing is probably good for now in the short term, but the minutes is gonna be a killer if this continues. The increased minutes for our more mobile defensemen had a positive effect for our offensive flow. We didn't have our plodders out there short circuiting our O. This in turn made it possible for us to spend so little time in our zone.

Yeah, I thought the 4th goal took all the wind out of their sails. I was really surprised the Kings didn't score more in this game.

Miller looked absolutely lost out there on both the Muzzin and Kopitar goals. I was surprised he wasn't pulled after Kopi's goal, really.
 
I've never seen a team completely quit like the Canucks did last night. I get wanting to rest your players for the Ducks, but I wouldn't have pulled RV like that unless he was injured. It's sends a bad message to the rest of the team. Anyway, I'm glad we can continually beat down on the Canucks. And Carter scoring will just add to his legend of only scoring in blowouts to the main board plebs, lol.
 
Finally. A game where the whole team was skating through the game instead of at the game. Nice to see at least every now and then.
 
I wonder how much the Canucks were amping themselves up for Kesler/Ducks and looked past the Kings. Vancouver didn't even show up last night. At one point it was 10 shots to 4 goals.
 
Wish i could have watched it but was having dinner with the GF's family (first meeting) and it took her mom 30-ish mins to bring up the Ducks and their superiority. Suffice it to say i got brownie points for holding back laughter and serious arguments. I was only able to work in the Avian Flu, to which they (mom and GF) were a little slow on the reference. Why do duck fans love fairy sooo much?

My GF's family are Ducks fans too. Only they have only been to one game back in 93 and can't name a single person on the roster (so your typical Ducks fan). It pisses them off that my GF supports the Kings we me. I know how hard it is to hold back in those situations, so props to you for doing it.
 
I laugh at the people that think RR is the problem, he's not the problem, Greene is.

Greene ain't that bad. Did pretty well in last year's playoffs. If you limit his minutes and he's fresh, he does pretty well. Also, I think a lot of people underrate his qualities as a leader on this team. Pretty much the same story with Stoll.

The problem is that you can easily say how this or that guy doesn't produce enough for his caphit, but when you get rid of players like that who have been on a couple Stanley Cup winning teams, it could very well change the dynamic. I think the 'ol adage of don't mess with it if it ain't broke holds true here. At least until there is reason to think otherwise.

Fell asleep after the second period because I was so tired. Damn, that Carter goal could not have looked any easier
 
I want to hear from all the a martinez haters Where are you all that said hes nothing but a bottom pairing defenseman and not important ? hmm come on now step up The kid can and has replaced slava well for the time being. I still say we keep him in top 4 with slava.
