Game #15 11/08/14: Kings 5, Canucks 1. Thank goodness for rivals!

Kopi's snipe just gets more amazing every time I watch it. He actually banked that thing in off the side of Miller's head, LOL.
Carter's shot was perfect too, although actually Toffoli's touch pass was just as perfect. A thing of beauty.

Yeah, no clue what our shooting percentage was but it corrected itself in one game Both absolute snipes and a big reason we usually say we'd like to see Kopi take it to the net and shoot more.

One thing I love seeing are the large photographs of the Cup and celebrations in the hallways of Staples near the locker rooms. I especially like pregame when the opposing players have to walk down those halls and see these massive high res photos plastered on the walls of our guys hoisting the Cup.

I like how Carter scores effortlessly. When he got the puck and was behind the defender, did anyone think he wouldn't score? He's like "oh, here is the puck". Clank!!

i don't even know if your team was trying against us. it just looked so effortless on some of those goals. Don't know why i go out to watch games with my friends when the Canucks play the Kings. it is probably an 80% chance that i'm going to leave angry. My friends hardly care so it can be even worse.

I always like to think your team gets up for the Canucks because it hurts to watch how outclassed we looked. Yet i see the Kings record every year and it just doesn't reflect the team i see on the ice.

The only way the Canucks can compete with you guys is a heavily defense oriented game. Then Dustin Brown scores for the 1-0 win and it is even worse.

Your team has a knack for winning those really close low scoring games. The entire series would have had to played out in that same manner. For the most part it did and the Canucks lost 3/4 of those games.

That isn't even acknowledging the physical beating the Canucks took in that series and would have continued to.

Crown Jewels - Kings RW Tyler Toffoli and D Alex Martinez each had three points in Los Angeles’ 5-1 win over Vancouver Saturday. C Jeff Carter, C Anze Kopitar, LW Marian Gaborik and D Jake Muzzin all had a goal and an assist. The line of LW Tanner Pearson, C Anze Kopitar and RW Tyler Toffoli controlled play at better than 82% for the game, with Pearson (21 attempts for, 3 against, 87.5%) leading the way.

I think its more important for them that they won the 2012 President's trophy than the Stanley cup.
