Expect a very tight game, special teams will be the deciding factor here! Sweden always plays like a team and are strenghten by the great start of the tournament. Brain says 3-2 ot Usa, but im going with the heart and say 3-2 Sweden ot. Hope not the 2 half swedes in Usa hurt their father land.

Do anybody know if you can watch the whole game in recap later somewhere?

An interesting little matchup for you trivia guys out there: The fathers of USA's Mattias Samuelsson and Sweden's David Gustafsson both played for third-tier team Tingsryds AIF, although never at the same time. Mr. Gustafsson however played with the fathers of OEL and Lawrence Pilut, and the sons all played in their junior system. That's a lot of hockey for a village of 3 000 people.

Lawrence Pilut is that an american playing for TAIF?

Lawrence's father, Larry, an American, played for TAIF majority of his career. Has been assistant coach for them since 2008, currently head coach since this season.

Aha had to check this guy up apparently his been playing in Timrå IK aswell bit shamed ive not heard anything about this guy! If it is the same guy i thinking off playing for Buffalo?

Which National team does he represent?

Very cool tidbit.

What an climax if one of this swedish american score the GWG against Sweden! why does all american born swedes chose to play for US while the Canadian born chose to play for Sweden?

Quite strange really, the coaching staff must've been dead set on Ek as the starter. Ersson's hot and he's had a days rest. He's also outplayed Eriksson-Ek all season long.

Yeh, Ersson is currently on track for the all-time Allsvenskan sv% record... he has been awesome all season. Kind of out of the blue though!

Bemström is the leading goalscorer in SHL, 12 goals in 23 games. Well he's tied in first place but he has played 4 less games.

Kind of amazing too see someone so young doing so well verses adults in SHL.

He scored 2 goals in the last game for Sweden.

I'm predicting the score 2-2, Sweden wins in OT.

Yeah just TSN3 by the looks of it. I suppose if you aren't in Canada you don't get all 5 channels. They only black out NHL games because they don't have national rights. It's all regional. But there are 5 channels or more and maybe not everyone has them.

This feels like it's gonna be a good game.

Well pretty easy to be the leading goalscorer when it only takes 12 goals to be the number one. And when you play first line power play and in such a good team as Djurgården.
