Completely disagree. I have a huge soft spot for Petan. He lost his brother a few years ago. I think he is way better than the majority of fans on this board. Rarely makes a bad pass. Keeps possession. He can play in the NHL. Unfortunately it doesn't matter what he does tonight, he isn't going to be in this line-up for more than a game with all the bodies trying to get in. Will be rooting hard for him. I just hope he gets more than 5 minutes ice time and makes a bunch of people on this board eat crow for at least one game.

He's a talented but undersized player. Maybe a good fit on other teams with a need for offensive skill, but he seems like an odd fit on the fourth line on our team.

Maybe this first game is a sloppy one, but honestly, if the Leafs provide any sort of forecheck and Anderson is even average I don't see this ending well for Vancouver. I suppose Demko could bust out an amazing game and change the landscape, but yeah who knows.

Very true actually. I don't know what it is, I don't enjoy blowouts as much anymore. It's all about the playoffs for me and I want this team to practice for the playoffs as much as possible.
