The elimination games are the best. Like back to back to back games 7s. Great hockey, I really dont care who wins. Just a great break from the nhl regular season shinny.

Canada could still win the pool.. beat the Germans and Czechs... US beat Russia and nothing is lost.

Good news for Canada is that they're done playing Russia/US now...

I feel like Canada has just become progressively more soft over the years and it’s shown in their performances. They used to bring a physical presence to this tournament that would intimidate other teams and you’d watch them shrink against our aggressive, physical style of play.

You gotta hate who you’re playing against, need that kill or be killed mentality every time you step on the ice and are in a puck battle or a foot race.

Generally the people and the teams that have that mentality are the most successful.

I feel like Canada has just become progressively more soft over the years and it’s shown in their performances. They used to bring a physical presence to this tournament that would intimidate other teams and you’d watch them shrink against our aggressive, physical style of play.

Generally the people and the teams that have that mentality are the most successful.

I mean, this is exactly how they played against the US.

It’s how the Russians played in this game against us.

I change my mind. This isn't one of the worst in recent memory; this is the worst Team Canada performance I've ever seen. They were dominated in all facets, and had zero fight in them by the end. Russia owned them.

On the positive side, no one should be singled-out for this atrocity, so hopefully they'll get it back together.
