Disagree. If I was rebuilding I would trade all three of those players. I would trade everyone.

I would only advocate keeping Carter as a stopgap #1 C until a replacement can be developed. Doughty is a player franchises hold on to no matter what. Toffoli is young. Those are my reasons.

Yeah, seriously. Opening night stinkers is the norm. They usually follow them up with a really good 10 games or something.

But it is concerning to see the mediocre play from some of our top players carry over from pre-season, not gonna deny it.

What's Carter done to be an exception? He might be more lifeless than Kopitar in this game. He disappeared as often as Kopitar did last year.

Carter played better than Kopi, scored more goals, had a better +/- and is much cheaper. This game Carter's not having a good game but Kopi's +/- is -2 while Carter's is 0. And again, Kopi gets more $ and is trying to negotiate so he can be one of the top 3 highest paid centers in the league right now and make almost twice what Carter does.
