Its iffy hit, but if anything its just charging. Main contact is still with upper chest, look at his body fly back. The arms may have pushed through into the throat.

Looks a bit like he may have left his skates, but also may have kept toe of blade on ice until he made the hit...

Have to go to the net top 2 lines. One and done. Kopitar line wasn't terrible, wasn't great. Carter line needs to get going. Bottom 2 lines have at least done something.

You're probably going to fail on at least 80% of PP's, but man, when the Kings fail, they can look really lost.

I don't get how Schultz draws in ahead of McNabb or Forbort. Forbort looked a hell of a lot better in preseason than Schultz. The only thing Schultz has going for him is his size, which he rarely ever uses to his benefit.

Definitely a headscratcher.

That gif is garbage because it won't capture that Brown was skating backwards and stopped right before the hit, so of course he has to lean forward.

Like I said, probably a bit high, but Couture was waiting to snap his head the whole time.

I'm fine with the Brown hit. That is how he needs to play to be most effective, and no way that hit is going to cause an injury. Rat face got a bloody nose, big deal.

If Brown, Lucic, Clifford, Nolan, Andreoff each get a couple of games for borderline hits- I'm totally OK with it.

We need to get back our old, nasty self that strikes fear into opponents. We threw a no-hitter last year.

That start was epic. If we could just do that first 2 minutes over and over we are gold.
