Nothing against Schultz, he is a good soldier but it's pretty alarming that Forbort and especially McNabb can't beat him out for a spot.

McNabb was the 3rd best Kings defenseman last year, Schultz has no business playing over him

If Brown, Lucic, Clifford, Nolan, Andreoff each get a couple of games for borderline hits- I'm totally OK with it.

We need to get back our old, nasty self that strikes fear into opponents. We threw a no-hitter last year.

I am also OK with Andreoff being out for many games...

We know Sutter by now. No rookie is going to come into camp and beat out a (outright)Veteran, unless that Rookie is someone of the skills like Doughty/Kopitar.

None of the Rookies had that good of a camp. McNabb had a very lackluster camp to boot.

Young players will be eased into the lineup with Sutter. We all know this.

I remember in a video clip last season that Stevens said something like "If you don't hustle in practice, you don't play" to McNabb. It's either that or a lower body injury.

Schultz may be a vet but he's played just 9 regular season games in the past two years. It's just baffling to me he is even on the roster, nevermind in the opening day lineup.
