I'd rather try Bournival with Pleks and Gionta again and move Eller back to center where he belongs. Both Eller and Gallagher are being wasted where they're playing now.

Still can't believe the ********* call on Emelin...that was beyond brutal, add to that that it was already 5 on 4...putrid!

Galchenyuk as #1 C,Eller as 2nd, Gallagher as top-6 winger with Thomas/Hudon/Collberg/Lehkonen/McCarron/Bozon as potential top6 winger.

Not counting UFAs we may sign.

Oh, Maybe we should extrend Briere for 3-4 years?

Prust's slewfoot was a legitimate call

Well it wasn't a slew foot at all unless you don't know the definition of one. It was a small trip with his skate.

There was more then a few other legitimate calls if refs are gonna call something like that. Heck Cleary gave Murray two crosschecks on the Detroit goal that could have been called. With how tight they called Emelin's penalty, those should be called

Your team looks tired today, almost disinterested.

Maybe its because your playing away?

This as been going on since Dec 1st for the most part.. The team is only in the playoff's right now because Price was carrying the team himself mostly but there's only so much he can do. The team in front of him stinks most nights.

Yup. Every year people dream of a future team with prospects, only to amount to nothing. 20 years and counting.

Higgins and Komisarek are our future captains and will lead us to the cup. Book it. And watch that Perezhogin kid...

Dumb penalty but brutal officiating and it's only the first.

First Detroit penalty shouldn't be one, so they make it up by giving Detroit a 5 on 3.

Then they let go a bunch of crosschecks in front of the net, then call Prust's little trip. A little consistency would be nice
Last time Habs played in Detorit 2010. I think I remember that game. It was a penalty one way fest all against montreal that basically sealed a Wing victory. In the third Detroit got away with so much hooking grabbing interference that even the Detroit commentators couldn't believe the refs had been so one sided. We may see it again tonight.

A small trip with his skate... isn't that the definition of a slewfoot? Either way, it's a 2 min penalty.

Refs have been terrible tonight, both ways. They either need to call everything or nothing. They seem to be picking and choosing what they are gunna call.

Side note, does anyone know why PK wears the number he wears?

76 is roughly the % of hockey fans whose jimmies he has rustled.

Leblanc had a couple of impressive shifts in the 1st.

Eller can't play wing. He's not a ****ing winger.

Bourque looks to be having another good game tonight.

DD is such a great pure center that Gallagher has been taking face-offs for that line in the offensive zone.
