The 3 plays where Mitts teed up goals were great obviously, but what really shined through for me last night was his play outside of the offensive zone and on the boards in general. Just such a high IQ player with a fantastic set of skills. He should have a career year points-wise, which is nothing to scoff at, but otherwise, his 200 foot game is what we've really been missing since Naz and everything else will benefit--papering over a lot of mistakes elsewhere. I know the big-3 are getting a lot of credit for keeping the team afloat during this injury laden stretch, but to me Casey's the linchpin.
