I get it. I generally agree. However, every time they seem to play like hot garbage tailing off the season. Then going into the playoffs, it sure seems like that just bridges to the same crappy play come time for the first round. Just seems like it carries over more often than not.

This game here is the first playoff game, now is the time to play hard and heavy. Playoffs is the big brother to the regular season. A big brother who just got out of jail and is looking for trouble.

Don't have to sell me on it. If you can get them to buy into that theory, mebbe they shake the shit off and play decent come the start of the playoffs.

There is something about this team that when they get into the first round they just look out of sorts, play soft, weak and look shaky to me. Like, no confidence.

There is no excuse for it. They just look awkward with zero cohesive effort. How does that happen at this point?

Pretty sure it's in their heads at this point. Can't get past the first round. Twins do the same thing. Hitting bombas left and right a few years ago, then the postseason hits. BOOM! They froze.
